Re: Overlaying Problems
Hi Harry - I think I've got what you want - see attached files I did 3 sessions on the weekend, 1 on Saturday (11 laps) and 2 on Sunday (15 and 17 laps). The images are from my attempt to overlay Lap 1 of the Sunday afternoon race - which I guess is Lap 27 of the whole weekend session. It occurs to ...

Overlaying Problems
I seem to be going backwards - I was able to do overlaying last year, but it isn't working on the latest update. most likely its me that's at fault. I have 3 * 15 lap races. I shot the video on a GoPro, so each race is on several 4 gig files. So first, I've combined these into a single video with Fi...

Re: Multi Lap overlay on iPad
Q1: yes. Q2: exactly, the Transfer function in Lap List will transfer the complete last trackday. There is no other option from Lap List. - Harry Thanks, Harry, I've got that. So I've now got timing data from a 15 lap race on my iPad, and I've got the go pro video for that race also. I know how to ...

Multi Lap overlay on iPad
I've now developed a workflow for my racing - I shoot on GoPro and record using Laptimer on my iPhone 5. I used to shoot video on the iPhone, but there's so much junk flying around in a vintage race that it could be damaged very easily. So I have to merge the Lap Timer and Video files together. Prev...

Re: Overlaying lap timer on external video
Thanks, Harry - that was painless! I've brought the Lap List onto the iPad, which was the real challenge I was facing. However, as the GoPro records in 4 gig "blocks", I need to merge two video files together before putting them in iPhoto and thus accessible to the iPad so that I can merge...

Overlaying lap timer on external video
I tried using my iPhone 5S to record video and data - unfortunately, in Vintage Racing, there's so much stuff flying around on the track that I picked up a crack on the iPhone. So I've switched to Plan B - I record data on my iPhone which is kept low down in the cockpit so it out of the way of any f...
