XGPS150 5 Hz update.
Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.
How do you check what version of the firmware the Dual is using?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.
Start the Dual Status Tool (available on AppStore). The firmware version is displayed in the bottom of the "XGPS150 Status" tab.

Ah, there's an app for that.
Thanks.

Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.
Btw...the app sucks too...firmware updates over the app would be nice (ok, I don't know if that would be possible over Bluetooth) or at least some kind of Push service for new firmware releases etc.

Did you forget HLT shows that too?Harry wrote:Start the Dual Status Tool (available on AppStore). The firmware version is displayed in the bottom of the "XGPS150 Status" tab.

In "Sensors" simply klick on the little blue arrow / circle of the connected XGPS and you will see the firmware version too.

Just to close the recent discussion on firmware availability: I got information from Dual the web site transition is completed now and the firmware registration should be available again: http://gps.dualav.com/firmware/xgps150

Re: XGPS150 5 Hz update.
I also only ever get 3.9hz with the Dual XGPS, as reported in lap timer. Is there anything to do about this? I'm running the most recent firmware, and I have tried this on a couple of devices to ensure it isn't a setting problem on my device. I get 3.9Hz on all.
Any ideas?

Please test your update rates again once v17 is available. I just tested the Dual and receive solid 5 Hz (even when increasing precision to one decimal digit.
