My questions:
1) I did not use my Android phone as a camera (it covers up too much of my small Lotus windshield). Instead I used the GoPro as my only camera. When using this GoPro video for HLT overlays, the resulting file's frame rate is reported as only 13 fps in Windows Properties (and, yes, it looks like 13 fps). The resulting file is 2:21 min/sec, 1080p, and only 67 MB. QUESTION: Is there a way to change export settings in HLT to create much higher frame rate files (like 30 fps)?
2) I also use RaceRender 3 to create my own custom gauges and data layout for overlays. I understand this question may be better directed to RaceRender, but do you know of any way to get HLT's speed insert data into RaceRender videos? Does it export into any particular fields on the CSV export?
3) Speaking of speed inserts, how exactly are these reported? I understand the speed insert overlays are drawn from POI triggers, but what exactly does it mean when the video says, for example, "Straight 104 mph" -- is this the speed achieved precisely at a POI signifying the end of a straight, OR is it the top speed between two POIs? Likewise, "Corner 90 mph" -- is this the speed achieved precisely at a POI signifying a corner apex, or is it calculated by some other method?
Thanks much. To think that 10 years ago, I spent almost $1,000 on a DL1 data box, which provided less data.
