Yes, most WiFi OBD dongles cannot be combined with the GoPro WiFi. Two options: either get a BT dongle (for iOS, the GoPoint BT1 is the only option), or operate the GoPro manually and transfer / add it later to LapTimer laps (check the last chapter in the linked documentation - External Video).
