Harry, I've exhausted the instructions for making the Multicam connection to my GoPro Hero 3+ Specifically what I have done is:
1. Connect my Nexus-7 tablet to the GoPro Hero wi-fi
2. On the settings page I have
a. ticked Discover MultiCams
b. Selected the HERO3 option
c. Entered the HERO3 ...

Harry, I did confirm that I needed to set the bluetooth connection to insecure; but I found I was still having problems connection after this. The culprit was that my Torque application somehow retained a connection to the OBDLink MX sensor even though the application was not running. I was aware ...

Harry SUCCESS! After turning engine off, letting tablet shut down & then restart, the obd is connected. I suspect the chane to insecure BT made the difference but I will unticket it to confirm. Now onto getting the GoPro to connect as an external cam!

Ok., I saw it listed under both Gos & engine sensors & deleted the one under GPS. I ticked the insecure BT setting but still no connection

Currently, I just see it scanning through the list, but it never tries to connect. I did verify that it is operating with Torque correctly, but I have shut that app down so that it is interfering.

Harry, I believe I have followed these instructions and while I was able to see my XGPS160 device was connected properly, the OBDLink MX is still not being connected. Is there some initialization code I need to enter?
At this point, I'm about ready to bail out of trying these devices to my Nexus 7 ...
