Hah! Yep. That fixed it.
Thanks!

Re: LapTimer unable to connect to Dual XPS150A
I get the same behavior with v17.5 on the same device - it stays available and never goes to connected. With a native application iOS7 app I can connect to the Dual unit on the same device and get data, but definitely there's some strange behavior with the connect/disconnect/reconnect messages from ...

Re: LapTimer unable to connect to Dual XPS150A
Harry, I don't know if this tidbit will help any, but experimenting today with a few different devices and accessories and I've noticed this: LapTimer on the iPhone 5 with 7.0 consistently will not connect to the Dual XGPS or the GoPoint BT1 that I have. However, on the same device, I can get GPS Bu...

Re: LapTimer unable to connect to Dual XPS150A
I don't know if this tidbit would help, but I just tried the same scenario on my iPad 4th gen with GA iOS 7.0 and the XGPS150 shows up immediately without issue.

Re: LapTimer unable to connect to Dual XPS150A
Having the XPS running before starting LapTimer didn't seem to make a difference. I did notice in this case that the GPS light didn't start to flash/acquire until after LapTimer was started, but the software never seems to go past Available and into Connected. I'll write a little native iOS7 app tod...

LapTimer unable to connect to Dual XPS150A
I just purchased a Dual XPS150A and upgraded it to the 1.2.3 firmware version from Dual. While LapTimer sees this device as available, it never actually connects and gets a fix. What's really interesting is that Harry's GPS Buddy can find a fix on the same device, as well as Dual's own app. I've tri...

Driving without a Track
This seems like a FAQ, but I could not find a good answer so apologizes if this was something I just missed.
Let's say I just to run the Lap Timer in a vehicle off a track, and start recording right now, and stop when I decide to stop. What's the right way to use Lap Timer in that scenario?
