Re: LapTimer Doesn't Play or Export Videos - iOS15

The thumbnails in Video Details sometimes fail to generate, this can be ignored. The more video you have on your phone, the more problems you will face. I just received another report there is an issue with video overlays on iOS15. Not tested so far, but we will visit this the next days.

Re: OBDLink Mx+ iOS not able to connect

Not too much. The 996 series did not come with a CAN bus but uses an older car bus protocol. You can expect 1 or max 2 Hz update rates (which means 4 to 8 PIDs/s), but not more. The OBD adapter isn't the bottleneck here, it is the car and its OBD gateway. Nothing you can change easy.

Re: Lap Timer doesn't start

Hello, The Hall of Fame observation was wrong, it continues into September 2021. We checked the track set and it looks like it is up to date. We will revise two split triggers, but the current definition should work as expected. We can continue investigation once we get access to a recording. - Harry

Re: Lap Timer doesn't start

Please see this FAQ on issue like this: http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2 Even so int sounds like the problem is specific to the track set, it might be a problem with GPS accuracy too. With a bad accuracy, you track may still work while another fails. For High Plains Raceway we...

Re: Downloading GoPro video?

Hello, The direct download in LapTimer is pretty unreliable. It issues a download command and expects things to work. I had talks to GoPro development on this a long time ago. I know they have added special problem handling in their own app to work around this unreliability. Anyway, it is not recomm...

While software encoding is slower that the hardware version, the later can result in instability for certain certain smar...

Re: Bluetooth Internal TPMS Sensors

Hello, LapTimer will detect VC601 sensors automatically. VC601 do not really connect but instead send a broadcast to anyone around listening. As they broadcast their status infrequently, it may take some minutes until you get all four displayed. Make sure BT is enabled in general and BT LE is enable...
