Re: Laps split in two
Yes. The join operation is actually "join with previous". So you need to select the seconds "lap" to get the join function. In case it is not displayed for the second lap, this means its starting position does not match the first lap's end position. In this case, they cannot be j...

Re: Turbo Boost not recorded in exported data
For most cars, braking is derived from other parameters. This is done in real time in LapTimer. These values are not exported (as they can be derived again).

Re: Dual XGPS 160 accuracy issues
The other difference is the time elapsed between the sessions. The satellite constellation changes all the time and atmospheric disturbances too. The other reason I'm sure is that the position is calculated by the GPS chip once. There is neither a reason or the processing capacity to do position cal...

Re: Dual XGPS 160 accuracy issues
Positions will not be different when a second phone is connected. Definitively not. That's GPS Shift.

Re: Dual XGPS 160 accuracy issues
That’s the so called “GPS shift”. It varies slowly but all the time. Results for the next track day may be better again - or shifted to a different position. It depends on the current satellite constellation and atmospheric disturbances. RTK / GBAS systems eliminate that by using a reference station...

Re: Two laps in one
This means the s/f trigger has been missed for one lap. This typically occurs when GPS accuracy is too low / disturbed. You can split this “multi-lap” as follows: select it from Lap List, follow Data Recordings / Fixes, select Verify Lap from the pop up list shown for the second icon in the bottom. ...

Re: Android 12 and Garmin GLO loosing GPS connection
Have all the tests been performed without the MX+ connected? I mean - does this occur when using a single BT device at a time or only while more than one is connected.

Re: What data can we get from a Ferrari?
I can't answer whether the named parameters get available in RaceCapture and your car, please contact ASL on this. LapTimer interfaces with RaceCapture devices provided the RaceCapture system is configured to match LapTimer's requirements. Please see http://forum.gps-laptimer.de/viewtopic.php?f=39&a...

Re: What data can we get from a Ferrari?
The OBD adapters serve as the interface between app and the car's bus. Once you want more than the parameters listed in the linked document (please read, it is providing an overview on technologies used), once needs to implement car / model specific hardware and software.

Re: What data can we get from a Ferrari?
Can we get oil pressure, temperature tire temp and pressure etc from the OBD in a Ferrari? Mine is F8 Tributo. Can we also get throttle and brake position and steering angle? You can find a list of LapTimer supported OBD parameters in Engine Data . To get these parameters, your car needs to support...
