Hello,
Is there a way to record data (no need for videos, I have a gopro) from random cruising without having to create a track and starting/finish line ?
Basically just a go and stop button
Thanks

Yes, LapTimer can be started / stopped manually too - like a classic stopwatch. This manual timing is available in the Classic view only - at least as a default. Check it and you will see a red 'G' button starting non-automatic timing. I removed this functionality from all other timer views as many users (interested in automatic timing) were confused by this. You can re-enable this functionality in all Timer views using the 'Manual Timing' setting.

Re: record random cruising
Hello, thanks for the answer.
Still it seems the app selects a track in my list of racetracks, How will that work out ? Should I create a track named cruising with no start/finish line ?
Also, about the classic view, is it just a stopwatch or does it record everything ? (GPS, speed, altitude, Gs ... )
Edit : Please tell me there is a way to disable the ticking sound in the classic view without having to put the iphone in silent ?
also how can I overlay this with my gopro videos in your app ?

Re: record random cruising
Select the current track (to sort manual recordings in) using the Event context view: press the little wrench in e.g. Classic View to get it.
Manual operation stores everything - like automatic recording does.
Disabling the tick sound can be done in Settings. Further information on Settings is available here: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/User_Interface.html
A short overview on external video overlaying is available here: http://www.gps-laptimer.de/Video.html
