Hi.
Harry's (on iPhone iOS) controls my wifi enabled GoPro Hero4 just fine. Also the videos (finally) are showing up in the Video List under GOPRO HERO4, but under Lap List -> Analysis I always get a "Master Offline" generic image instead of a thumbnail. This also means I cannot Export the videos ("Master Missing").
• GoPro 4 is on and connected via Wifi
• GoPro native app is force-quit'ed and not running in the background
• GoPro SD was wiped clean before recording
• GoPro DID record the session with the iOS recording being the PIP (as I can see the footage in the video list)
Hope you can help.
GoPro Hero4 with iOS = "Master Offline"
Re: GoPro Hero4 with iOS = "Master Offline"
[Moved to Using LapTimer]
This is expected behavior. Please read about transferring footage from the GoPro's SD card to the smartphone in Video Documentation available on www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation. There is an option to download footage using WiFi, but it is not stable for longer videos. my recommendation is to use the manual transfer as described in the document. It is a lot faster and reliable.
