Multiple bluetooth devices

Post by rbpeirce »

Maybe this is obvious but can HLT connect to two devices at the same time, specifically to a Kiwi3 and a GPS receiver. With an external GPS receiver I could put my iPhone in the console or glove box when I am not allowed to use a suction mount.

Yes, a smartphone can connect to multiple BT devices at a time. Bandwidth will be shared and things get more complicated the more devices are connected however. That's the reason I find developments like Wivel or RaceCapture very interesting. They start to get into a similar price ranges like multiple dedicated GPS, OBD etc devices...
