Completely Lost and Confused!

Hi guys

Sorry to be a complete Noob, but I've bought Harry's Laptimer and Grand Prix add on today along with a Go Pro Hero 4 Silver.

I am having absolutely no joy in getting video or data to overlay in the app. I record a lap, the go pro automatically records like it's supposed to, and then when I try to use any of the overlay functions in the app, I get a series of error messages.

I can download the video to the phone from the go pro, but that's as far as it lets me go.

What am I doing wrong?!

You need to transfer and "re-link" the HERO footage to your smartphone before overlaying it. Instructions can be found in Video Documentation available from www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation.
