I can't get HLT Grand Prix to sync with my GoPro 3. I have WiFI set up correctly to operate GOPRO from IPHONE but HLT won't hookup with GOPRO like it easily does in all the YouTube videos I watched.

Do you have the correct GoPro password set in the HLT Settings menu Multicam settings? The GoPro app can't be running in the background either.
