Export/save custom car settings?

Hello,

Just picked up the android version of the app and have been playing with it. Getting cars added gearing etc... Many have power adders, not stock tires, weight reduction etc...

Now I would like to export and back these up. I don't want to "certify" them as they are not stock?

Backup in case the phone dies. And export so I can copy them all to my Wifes phone.

She will be driving at the same time as me in one of the other cars(two cars on track), we will swap cars on different sessions. So she needs her own copy of the app with the cars configured etc...

I would like to save an hour or so setting up her install.

p.s.While I could grab my old phone and install my copy on both. That isn't fair to Harry. Plus her phone has the best camera! So I'll trudge through the setup if i have to.

Hi,

For vehicles there is both a Certify and an Export function. They are both available from the options menu in Vehicle details. While Certify anonymize the data and submits it to the server (and expects stock values), Export created a full copy and allows sending it by mail or Dropbox.

In your case, please export to mail and send it to your wife's account. She needs to open the mail on her smartphone and touch the .hvehl attachment included. This will bring up LapTimer for import.
