Background record video manually (Android)

Post by leecavturbo »

On android I'm not able to back ground record video in manual mode I.e Not using as a timer and don't have trigger points ( start/finish ) but wanted to use to just capture a drive on the motorway and capture speeds.
Possible?
Also can we record in portrait?

[Moved post to separate thread in subforum Using LapTimer]

To record a video manually with LapTimer v20, there are actually two options:
  • Foreground recording: LapTimer ‣ Race ‣ Timer ‣ Video ‣ select Internal Cam ‣ Preview ‣ Start / Stop
  • Background recording: enable Manual Timing in LapTimer ‣ Administration ‣ Settings first; next, LapTimer ‣ Race ‣ Timer ‣ Video ‣ select Internal Cam ‣ Close Video Operation dialog; to start / stop a recording (with video in background), press manual Go / Stop buttons visible now
