I've got three phones I could use for LapTimer: a 5, a 5s, and the original iPhone 6.
I've read the comments on the main page that says the 5-series is the best choice because of issues regarding camera stabilization. Is that still true with the latest OS? I'm wondering if other improvements in the 6 (e.g., better quality camera in general, faster processor for building overlays) might now outweigh the benefit of the older models.
Thanks.
iPhone 5 vs. 5S versus 6
Re: iPhone 5 vs. 5S versus 6
The last model without stabilization / rolling shutter issues is the iPhone 4S, not the 5. I consider all of the named models pretty much the same in this respect. The 6 will be the best choice as the 6's screen has a bigger screen.
