Recording video for all laps

Just tried out the app so many people are using at the Driver's Education events. It is running on an iPhone 4S. The lap data had a few hiccups, which I am sure is operator error, however the video was recorded for only every other lap. It seems when Start/Stop triggers for lap data it keeps running (stop and continue) however for video it is Start-record the lap, Stop and wait for Start, Start-record the lap, etc. Is there a setting I am missing to have the entire session on video? Thank you.
