Loads of .pbd and .pbd.save files.. can I delete these?

Hi,
I have recently had a lot of trouble with my HLT.. A lot of "crashes" and stopped video recordings etc.. I haven“t tried to recover the database because I have not lost anything of great importance (just practicing laps on my home track) and I have another older quite reliable lap timer software so I have still been able to see what laptimes I have done..
I mainly use HLT for the easy video overlay-option and the possibilties to compare laps...
I believe the crashes are caused by insufficient memory + overheating problems..
Anyway, these crashes have now caused a lot of recovery files taking up space on my iPhone... When I open the HLT app in my iTunes I see a lot of .pbd and .pbd.save files ("LapTimerGPSRecDB...").. And also a lot of folders named "recoveryDBs...." (see attached pictures)
Can these files and folders safely be deleted? How? Simply by clicking delete?
