Autocross Setup: Poor GPS but, Good GPS

Post by thescreensavers »

My Phones GPS accuracy is quite poor 29-39ft, I hardwired a BT GPS into my car which is accurate to ~8ft.

When I walk the track I would use my phone to mark start and stop locations.

When I am in the car(Using the good gps) and I select "Staged" will that update the start location?

Can I also change the end location?

If the Auto start/stop works then my track might be up to 78 ft shorter which isn't a huge deal but upto 16ft is better :)

The start / staging position is not updated when pressing staged. This will simply "charge" the system to start when the device starts moving. You can adjust your triggers at any time using LapTimer's Map View by dragging triggers around.
