Generating overlays with no GPS data

Generating overlays with no GPS data

I had to run a bunch of laps yesterday without any GPS data. I took video in the hope of being able to overlay the OBD II data and do at least a little bit of analysis based on entry and exit speed. However, when I generated the overlay, it doesn't put any data up. Is there any way (via Laptimer or by extracting something) to get the OBD data onto the video or is it not referenced against the video time without GPS data?

LapTimer stores GPS fixes and optionally enriches them by OBD and acceleration data. This mean no GPS, no other data is stored. So an overlay will not work here.

:( it was showing the OBD data on the video screen, so I was hopeful. Oh well.
