iPhone 5s - Background Video Recording is Disabled?

So about a year ago I saw this message (Background video is disabled) and was pretty annoyed because I assumed that this was a setting, ended up being that it was actually disabled in the app due to a problem (or something) this time I'm seeing this error but I see no mention of this on the forum, I have scoured settings and find no mention of enabling it. Not sure if relevant but today after running an autocross event there are 10 un-linked videos with no laps listed at all?! This is the 2nd time having his occur since the re-vamp (UI refresh v19?).

I'll be happy to provide any information to help resolve my problems please tell me what you want, and I apologize if I sound annoyed but I really am since today's lap data was needed to compare someone else driving my car (videos not so important).....

Several item:

1) For iOS, background video recording is available using "Record Auto" in Video View
2) This either means you have not updated LapTimer since v19.0.0 (in this case there is no recovery available), or you ran out of battery while recording and LapTimer wiped the database. It does this to allow you continued operation but will create an automatic backup. To recover, please check viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2626
