Overlay Help Needed

I'm sure this has been discussed and explained here (just can't seem to find it)...

I have a Hero3 GoPro, IPhone 6, an updated version of HLT 18.3.9, just bought HLT Petrolhead, and Harry's Multicam.

I have GoPro wifi visual confirmation (on Timer Video screen) on 18.3 version...GoPro camera image displayed in upper right with flashing wifi light...but when I hit record, only the phone camera records. The recording light in GoPro image lights up, but nothing happens with GoPro device.

I'm sure this is an ignorant question....just can't seem to make it happen.

Remote controlling GoPros is a GrandPrix feature. Actually it shouldn't even show up in Video View...
