Incorrect video resolution on Nexus 7 (2013)

Post by majormojo »

I recently purchased Laptimer Petrolhead to use with a Nexus 7 tablet. The problem I'm experiencing is the video resolution being distorted ("squished" vertically). I have tried all combinations of changing resolutions in the camera/video settings on the tablet and in HLT. Seems like the app is expecting a 4:3 ratio and changing/rendering it to a 16:19 ratio. The rear camera on the N7 is a 5MP 1080p camera.

Here's a quick clip of video made with HLT, you can see the distortion.

Welcome :-)

For Android, LapTimer uses the original video resolution (width and height) for the overlaid video.

The link named is missing?
