Hi, I have little problem. After last update, BT OBD (i´m using ELM327) stopped working. BT GPS works fine.

I tryed unpair OBD from device and pair it again, remove from app and set it up again in sensor list but it didnt work. App shows me in sensor list OBD statuses over and over...

Not Available - Connecting - Connected - Not available - Connecting...

When is OBD connected, and i look in live view, it´s not send any data do device, and after few second it´s disconnected

Image

Did you have any idea how to set it up?

Thanks

[Moved to Accessories/OBD]

Please follow the instructions here so I can check if it is related to the latest changes or something different. Please always add smartphone, dongle, and car model.

It seems I crippled ELM327 compatibility when adding GoPoint BT1A support this weekend... Will be fixed in 18.1.2...

So, i have been in car. OBD ELM327 works ;) , but it seems a little bit slower then before. Refresh rate shows 3Hz (i dont know how much is before), but RPM not rise and fall "smoothly", but jumping erratically. In previous versions this is much better. As allways I compare it with Torque :), and in that app rpm rise and fall allmost smoothly.

And i have another question :)

Bar which showing throttle it´s a little bit funny. If I dont push throttle pedal it´s show full, if I push it on 2000rpm it´s show zero or minimum... It's possible that it's because I have DSG?

Update rates have not changed, at least not from the coding side. Whether the rpm reacts faster or slower depends on the amount of other data collected. As LapTimer is for recording, not for showing a selected set of data, it needs to capture data independent of the display status. Throttle needs to be calibrated as max an min values depend on your car. So until you fully throttle your car at least once, data shown may look strange. Not a problem on track, but when testing on public roads.

Does this apply for iOS as well? A friend has problems with his BT1 on iPhone 5 and already upgraded to iOS 7.1.2

Edit: he hasn't upgraded to v18.1 though, just asked him.

No, that has been in an Android only code segment - introduced in v18.1.1 and removed in 18.1.2.
For your friend, please check if you have other smartphones connecting to the BT1 and other Bluetooth devices around, that's usually the reason for issues.
