Multiple Laps

Post by ap981cs »

Is there a way for Harry's Lap Timer to automatically record multiple laps (ie. not individual laps) or link consecutive laps? I guess I can use the manual record rather than letting the Lap Timer do automatically at the start/finish line but I rather have it done for me.

Any hints or tips on this?

I'd like to get more than a single lap on play back. Is it possible or beyond the power of the iPhone (4S)?

Multiple Laps

With v18 you can overlay several laps into one video. Select one lap to overlay and add those laps you want to have before and after.

Didn't know I could do that. I've already overlaid & deleted the data off the iPhone so I have to try it next time out.

Thanks for the help.

I'm interested in recording an actual race, typical race length for us is 25 minutes, which translates to 10-20 laps (depending on the track).

What would be the easiest way to do that? Manual record start/stop? Does anyone have any experience recording a multi-lap race?

Thanks!

Harry I have the above reference, but my laplist does not have an "OVERLAY" button associated with that page. My goal is to link together the video / data for 5 consecutive laps. This is for an IPod Touch 4.

Thanks

Please select an individual lap in Lap List. This will bring you to the lap's Lap Details including the overlay function. The lap selected is used as a kind of "anchor" to optionally extend to the complete session.

Harry thanks for the quick response. I follow what you are saying and have selected the first lap of 5. There is a button under the video section that indicates overlaid, but no overlay button option to take me to the screen which would allow me to add additional laps (as in your FB reference).
