I am just doing my first steps with the Grand Prix Edition and I am fascinated by Your incredible software. Connecting my iPhone to the VBox-Sport and my Hero 3 works perfect!
Playing around with HLT and configuring the setup, the first questions pop up and I would like to start posting my experiences:
I was wondering if it is possible to enter a location by name for setting up a new track in maps?
For example: if I am not on location, how can I enter the position of the track I want to create. There is no type field like in the `normal´maps-app to locate the anticipated area?
What I did, was find out the GPS- coordinates of the track I want create, then went to maps in the `more´-menue and set a trigger with this coordinates. By naming the course, You will find it in the track-list.
Once You have set this `first´trigger, no matter how You define it, You can ad the relevant other triggers to the course, as You see it in the satellite-view.
Will there be a possibility in the future to search locations by name, so that it won´t be necessary to first find out the coordinates in google maps?
thank You
Creating New Tracks NOT beeing on location
Re: Creating New Tracks NOT beeing on location
I had checked this search capability some time ago when the maps were based on Google Maps. I checked it again a minute ago. It seems a search functionality is still not been available for "normal" apps. I still hope some day all maps are prepared and there is no need to add additional tracks any more.
Probably nothing that will ever happen.

Thanks for the info!
By the way: is it possible to manually move triggers to an exact position on the track, when displayed in a enlarged view on maps? As I understand the trigger You ad in the first place will always be in the center of the map....
