trouble transfering raw video

I am trying to transfer / copy the raw video form my iphone to my computer as I have done in the past. I used iexplorer to access the documents folder, then I found the mov files. But when I try to drag them to my computer they turn into an ipe_tempfile. Any ideas why it wont let me transfer the video?
