Hello,
I tried to load/import the kml file that I host on my web server, but I alwazs get the ERROR screen informing that the "POI Set could not be loaded fron the Server, error #39. Please try again later".
The server is up, since I can download the file by accessing the link from another computer.
I must mention that I did not have any issue when I uploaded other Add-ons (ex. Large Cities) or Outdated POI Sets (like circuits).
Any help will be warmly appreciated.
Stationary SPeed Traps loading problem.
Re: Stationary SPeed Traps loading problem.
Hi,
This error 39 means the XML file is malformed. So LapTimer most probably loads the file but it cannot be parsed. Please make sure you uncompress the kmz file you download from SCDB: 1) rename the x.kmz file to x.kml.gz, use gunzip to uncompress it to x.kml, and upload it to your server again. I just went through the process as I though maybe they have changed the format, but it work without problems.

Re: Stationary SPeed Traps loading problem.
Many thanks for your answer.
Unfortunately, I'm afraid that there is something else wrong (looks like a cache issue) since I re-installed the complete app, delete completly the file from the web server, but still got the error #39....
I was expecting to get a different error (related with the fact that the file is missing now completly from the web server location....).
What am I doing wrong ?
Is any configuration that I should use for the initial download of the file from the SCDB site (I downloaded the Europe speed cams).
In the worst case scenario, could you please be so kind and give me a link to your web server for the correctly formated file ?
Many thanks again.

Re: Stationary SPeed Traps loading problem.
In case the file cannot be accessed, you get an error #65, in case it is malformed, you get this error #39. So please check the process again, download the Google Earth targeted .kmz first, rename to .kml.gz, use ungzip to unpack to .kml and upload it to a server.
I cannot provide you with a file link as this clearly do to allow redistribution of downloads. I check with them on this some time ago. Sorry.

Re: Stationary SPeed Traps loading problem.
Hi Harry,
I confirm eveything is fine.
The issue was due to the fact that the homepage of my websever (where I uploaded the kml file) is CGI enabled.
I discovered the issue looking on the resulted xml file generated by the Laptimerapplication, where I saw the erros about "frames not supported".
Many thanks.
Chris
