Can't find my video with overlay

I'm a new user, so I assume this is a simple settings issue. I've been practicing and am trying to produce a video with data overlay. The first time I go to LapList I get the following message:

"Warning - Access to Photo Library is disabled for either your device, or LapTimer. Please enable access in your Settings app, LapTimer requires this service to record and access vides."

This message only appears the first time I access a particular lap. I've searched through the Settings App to find anything about "enabling access," with no luck. I could find nothing under settings for Photos & Camera, Video, or LapTimer that seems appropriate.

If I then try the overlay process as described in the documentation I get the expected message saying "Overlaying video, xx%, (xx frames)" and when it's done then "transferring file." But afterwards still only the raw video is available, i assume becaise of the above issue with enabling access. Can anyone provide me with guidance for this? Thanks.

Please turn Photo Library access on for LapTimer: Settings app -> Privacy -> Photos -> LapTimer
