Dual XGPS150 5Hz support

Took some time to get it right but I managed to update to 5Hz I used a PC with Windows 7 and after installing the driver it worked after 3 or 4 attempts...

During first tests I got 7-11 satellites wit an average of about 4Hz

My XGPS-150A arrived today. Only just found out about the firmware upgrade.

I had to change the com-port for the Prolific device to a fairly low one (COM7 was available in my case) before it got detected. After that, it all worked without any problems. FW 1.2.6 on it now and LT reporting 4.1 Hz refresh rates.

i have a problem with the Dual gps 150..
i tried to update the firmwire to accommodate 5hz refresh rates and i didnt know that i had to turn the switch to other..
and it wouldnt update the firmwire..i had to stop it at some point by either closing the program or unplugging the gps..
so i did..after that i wouldnt turn off..after it drained the battery it shut off but after that it wont turn on or charge..
i sent an email to the support team but they didn't answer..
help?

I havnt used my XGPS since summer and now I cant get it to connect again. I updated to latest software but it just wont pair. I get Pairing unsuccessful... Anyone else having the same problem?

Just made an order for an Dual XPGS150 and made a quick google-research about it which lead me here. I guess my unit will have to be updated to get 5Hz support but the link doesn't seem to work for me. I just get their main page. The same firmware link is found in the FAQ section at Duals homepage. Anyone experience the same?

So just to confirm...since it's been over a year since the 1.2.6 beta Firmware for the XGPS150.

A person buying a new one now, is the firmware already on there? Or do they still need to update?

I just bought a new one and it is not updated with latest firmware. I cannot get to work with Foreflight. Dual wants me to send it in at my cost...not too happy.

I asked dual Tech support how to fix the read/write error when trying to update to new firmware and they would not answer.

Anybody have suggestions, I do not want to send it in.
