Crazy overlay with black video!

Post by SOFTCLICK »

Could shows crazy, but an option to overlay a video using a black matte video would be good.

I explain, I use Iphone to record rear camera, and want to add the overlay to my "not wifi" camera of front.

If possible to create a overlaid video (just the information, speed, track map...) with black screen video, I can use any edition program to blend the information with the video of the front camera too!

Understand?

Please always search the forum ahead of requesting a feature ;-) Please enter "blue box" into the forum's Google Search and you will get quite some hits. Maybe you want to look into this post for a solution: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=466#p7002

I want to use the video of the iphone, not loose! Is mounted on Optrix Mount and have nice images. I want do 2 overlaid videos from the same information, one with the video, one with black image.

I know the hability to change the main video by a fake black or green video, but need heavy work, very worst than choose "overlay with blank video".

So you have one "external" video you want to use as the master to overlay to and the iPhone video for something else? You can use LapTimer to overlay to any footage, just check the http://www.gps-laptimer.com/LapTimerDoc ... hapter.pdf for the details. It will be basically you transfer the external video to your iPhone (through iTunes etc) and select this video as an additional video for your laps (Lap List -> select lap -> press Edit -> Add Video). LapTimer will use any external video transferred to the iPhone just like it does for it's own recordings. You can even use your iPhone video as picture in picture video.
