cannot connect to multi cam

Post by colorblind »

Harry: I love your products. Please excuse my ignorance regarding electronics if I am asking a stupid question. I use your lap timer program regularly at the track. Since I recently upgraded to an iphone 5 and had my old iphone 4 just sitting around I thought I would start using your multicam feature. My problem is that I cant get the two phones to connect via blue tooth. I have blue tooth turned on on both phones as well as in the settings portion of the phone in the apps section. When I try to use the multicam feature I do not see the camera icon at the top of the screen like what I see on your YouTube example. I am fairly sure that the phones are operating correctly as both can sync to other devises using blue tooth. I am sure I am just not doing something simple but so far I cant figure it out. Any suggestiosn you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Do you have installed LapTimer Grand Prix on one phone and the MultiCam app on the other?

No sir. I believe I just have the petrol head version. But I do have it on both phones as well as having the multi cam app on both phones. Do I need to upgrade to the Grand Prix version? Thanks

In case you want to remote control the second device, you need GP on the master and the free MultiCam on the client. You can certainly let both phones operate independently and transfer one video through iTunes sync or iCloud. For both MultiCam, and manual video management, please check the video doc: http://www.gps-laptimer.com/LapTimerDoc ... hapter.pdf
