Harry,
What triggers Green (up) and Red (down) arrows to display in Racer's View? I could not detect a pattern when they were firing. For instance, when I was going below the speed in the reference lap, I saw both green and red arrows. Same thing when I was running above the reference speed.
Also, is my observation that the display of Alerts is speed sensitive correct?. So the faster you are going, the Alert will fire sooner (e.g. 1500ft vs 1000ft).

Racer's View Green/Red arrows
Re: Racer's View Green/Red arrows
Hi,
The arrows are shown depending on longitudinal / lineal acceleration. So with negative acceleration (braking) you get the red one, and for positive the green. This option dates back to the first LT versions in 2006, that's obviously more of a gimmick than helpful on track
The distance alerts are shown is adaptive to the speed driven. That's a convenience function for speed traps.

Re: Racer's View Green/Red arrows
Would you consider changing the arrows so green means you're going faster than the reference lap and red slower? By faster/slower I mean the rate of change of the gap. So if on the reference lap I was going 100kph and I'm currently going 105kph, I am going faster. I think this might be more useful information and easy to read/understand at a quick glance.

Re: Racer's View Green/Red arrows
Frankly, I'm not sure about the Racer's view future. It has been a lot of fun in the past but is simply too much information to be viewed while driving. I'm open for votes but I use Timer or Speedo only while driving, not Racer's.

Re: Racer's View Green/Red arrows
I understand.
Have you thought of having a screen that was user configurable? This would be like the tab or task bar at the bottom of the screen where one can select with tools to place there. It could be great if I could configure my own screen with Lap Time, Gap, Current Speed, and Max Speed. All of these are available now, but on different screens
