video reloading : How ?

Help on issues you run into with LapTimer; in case you have a question on how to use LapTimer, use the forum "Using LapTimer" instead

video reloading : How ?

Post by phgn38 »

Hello

I have transfered the video to the Iphoe Photo App before overlaying. Now I would like to reload the video in order to proceed to the overlay.

I carefully read your answer to that known issue, but i do not have the "Edit" and Add video buttons ?

Please help
Thank you
Philippe

Hi,

You need to configure your Photo synchronization in iTunes to replicate the video back to the Photo app. Once you have configured and synchronized, please first check you find the video in your Photo app on the iPhone. In case you find it, switch to LapTimer. Check, if the laps recorded show this video for overlay again. In case they do not, you need to relink laps and video. In any Lap's Details, select "Edit / Bearbeiten" and "Add Video / Neues Video hinzufügen", select the raw video from the Photo library. So far it is easy. Next step is more complicated, as you need to find the finishing point for the lap selected in your video. LapTimer will prompt you with a dialog you can set a "Sync Point" in. As written above, this sync point is the frame in the video matching the lap's end. Once this is done, you are ready to generate an overlaid video.

In Lap List, select any lap you want to work on. Lap Timer will open a Lap Details view. Please check the top right for the "Edit" button.
