Lost POIs on the map

Post by NRGDEAD »

Hi Harry,

I have a few POIs on my device that are kinda lost. I can't "click" 'em, and they have no name/label.
They probably were created a while ago, when I experimented with creating custom tracks. I have since deleted many of those tracks, but still can see a few red dots near my working place.

Is it possible to purge any unknown/lost POIs?

Cheers
NRG

PS: Coming to think of it, maybe it would make sense to redesign the track/POI handling, that the user would only load one track/POI set at a time. At the moment, when I zoom out far enough, I can see NordschleifeBTG, my "own" local test track, and a few lost POIs at the same time.

PPS: Oh boy, I can hardly wait to finally test this all out at last on Saturday. ;-)

The red dots are no POIs but recent position LapTimer detected for your device. Red means bad accuracy - which is normal while sitting in your office. All POIs are available from Lap List. They are grouped by track and sit in a row named "POIs / Triggers". Swipe that row to delete complete sets fast.

Ah, I see.
Hm. How long are they preserved? I think I'm seeing the very same two dots for a few days now..

I'd need to check the code... Maybe 400... Please keep in mind they are generated when having a GPS lock only.
