GoPro Integration

Hi, I want to use GoPro video as main shot and IPhone as picture-in-picture but can't work out how to do this. I am a Mac user. Can anyone help please?

Just record and process as usual. Once you have the Master iPhone video and the PiP GoPro video available in your Lap Details, press "Edit" and drag the GoPro video up to the master position.

Harry - you said the next version of HLT however will allow you to use the GoPro as the main camera from the get go right?

There are two topics: 1) rearranging individual videos (both internally and MultiCam recorded) to select which one will make the Master and which will be used for Picture in Picture videos. This item is covered already. It is a really easy task to rearrange the order (see above). 2) Using LapTimer with video recording using a MultiCam recorder only. This item is currently not supported, but will be in 17.5. Today you can reduce the internal video resolution to the min to not use a lot of space and delete the internal video once you are done with recording.

Used Laptimer, VBOX Sport and GoPro for the first time on track yesterday. Everything worked perfect with picture in picture and accurate logging. Very impressive product, you have obviously put a huge amount of work into it, well done.

Harry, in the instance where you choose which video is the master, can I assume the sound will always be from the master video?

Yes, audio comes from the master vid.
