I tries to tell Laptimer to move to move the video to the library so i can get it on my PC and it tells me there is not enough space.
looks like it wants to duplicate it rather than just move it.
Anyway to get it on my PC from the app as opposed to duplicating it into the library ?
Or to tell the app just to move the video ?
Moving a video from the file system to the Photo library is no "move" operation in a file system sense. Instead, you ask the Photo Library to include a video sitting in the file system to the library. Once the process is finished, the app is notified the video has been copied - and can delete the original video. On app level, there is no alternative to my knowledge. Please check viewtopic.php?f=8&t=679 for an approach to bypass iOS using "iExplorer".
Just in case anyone else asks.
Here is what i did.
I took a manual backup of the iPhone.
i then used an app called iPhoneBackupExtractor to open the backup.
Go to expert mode and Applications.
There is a folder called Harrys Lap Timer and then a folder called Documents.
In there is the .mov file.
If you start video recording manually in the pits will the stop/start trigger on the track then be ignored? My friend has several laps all run together and this would explain what's happened.
It is o.k. to start video recording in the pits. Once the first trigger is detected, LapTimer will start normal operation timing individual laps. Video recording will continue until manually stopped. In case laps run together, please check the usual items: track set loaded, track driven in the correct direction, GPS up and running and reporting regular updates (>= 1 Hz) and a green bar. Airplane mode needs to be turned off.
