Lock Autofocus

I seem to have to turn this on every time I enter the video screen. Is there any way to get the setting to "stick"?

Yes, it is like this. If I remember correct, I did it like this to force an explicit focus action. Otherwise a focus set wrong once, will probably stay across sessions. It is kind of risk management

In the previous version you tapped a padlock to turn the lock on and then tapped the screen to set the focus if I remember correctly. I find focus locked on infinity gives the best results in a car. With auto-focus on it seems to be constantly "hunting" and much of the time the picture is out of focus. I'm wondering if others find this.

No change in v17 compared to former versions, the lock and focus pattern is in Apple's video app? I guess most users do not set auto lock at all. Nevertheless, I agree it might make sense to change something here... Simply setting autofocus forever is not what I would like to go for, I'm sure we will find a better approach.

I seems that the setting is maintained when HLT is backgrounded so I shouldn't have a problem for the track day next week unless there is a crash. On that subject, any news on the marketing cards?
