Harry:
I was on track last Friday using the latest Grad Prix version, GoPoint BT1, Dual 150 GPS and a GoPro 3 running on my old iP4. For the first time, the BT1 failed in that HLT recorded nonsensical data such as negative revs, 300+ mph. This was the first and only time I have used this combo. Has anyone else reported problems with the new app and a BT1?
Do you have any suggestions for how to troubleshoot this? I will try it again next time I have the track car out but that may be a few days.
Thanks, Dave

Re: BT1 Malfunction in Grand Prix
Please check if you have the latest firmware installed for the BT1 (this is done using one of the GoPoint apps on AppStore). Although LapTimer should work both with the "old" one, and the one we have built special support for in, this may work around issues for you.

Re: BT1 Malfunction in Grand Prix
I launched the app and sure enough, new firmware downloaded and installed. As soon as I have a chance to get the car out, I'll let you know if all is well.Harry wrote:Please check if you have the latest firmware installed for the BT1

Edit: I drove the track car last night and the BT1 was just fine with the Grand Prix edition. Not sure why it failed last weekend.
