I can't even get through to customer service. I tried email and never got a response. Hope the link works by Saturday. I got a race on Sunday and would like to use it.

Dual sent me a link and got the firmware update. Showing 3.9Hz now. It's cloudy and raining outside, might be the reason it's not reading higher. Other than that it works great. Ready to test it out tomorrow at the race!

Btw: LapTimer v17 comes with an improved update rate calculation. In special situations, update rates shown were too low.

Can someone put up the correct link or attach the file to their post?

The Dual support is very bad indeed. Even now they haven't changed the simple link in the FAQ section. As far as I can see, it's the only hint to the 5Hz firmware. I took a look and saw it's already at 1.2.6 and my XGPS150 was still on 1.1.2. So in fact they are updating and probably improving firmware but I can't find a way to be notified about updates. I re-subscribed their newsletter but I guess there will be only product news like they did with the XGPS170. To find out if there's a new firmware available, you have to fill out the form and look for yourself, no change log and you have to load the drivers from another website. "Hightech" devices..."lowtech" support
