IOS Update and now Laptimer is gone

I updated IOS update on my phone and Lap Timer disappeared from my apps.

I re-downloaded from app store and when I go back to add pro it wants to charge me again for the app?

I already bought pro and have the receipt from itunes for when I bought it.

Any ideas?

Apple will never charge you twice for the same app using the same iTunesID. So just be brave and "purchase" again. You will get a message late in the process you will not be charged. Btw. iOS updates should not remove apps at all. Especially the latest updates work "deferred", so do not reinstall / sync everything from the backup (you should have performed ahead of updating) immediately. Instead, the update process continues clearly beyond the perceived update process.

So you have used a different iTunes ID than the first time... Apple is very accurate with that. We need to check with Apple once you get charged, I do not get information on individual transactions and clients. Nevertheless, I'll take care you will not pay twice.

P.S. Please check the app edition in addition. Maybe you have downloaded LapTimer Standard the first time and upgraded to Pro later. Technically, that's a different app than LapTimer Pro.

As I said, we will get that sorted out. Can you please send both receipts to me (Harry@gps-laptimer.de) so I can check with Apple? As soon as I have verified the data, I will stand in for Apple until that is clarified.

Oops, guess I shouldn't have deleted it. Next time I'll use reset. Argh! Apple charged me again, well for Grand Prix full version. Originally I purchased Petrolhead and later upgraded to Grand Prix. I understand from the thread that downloading the Grand Prix full App is different from the Upgrade. Can that please be fixed/refunded, and sorry for the inconvenience.

Scott, please request a refund for the full GP (google "AppStore refund") and state you accidentally purchase the app instead of upgrading Petrolhead. I had added a bold headline to the GP Edition on AppStore specifically for Petrolhead users, don't know what else I can do to keep you from purchasing a second app Here is the FAQ for upgrades: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1235
