Probably some other bluetooth devices around? Please not that the effective update rate degrades with bad receiving conditions too.

No bluetooth device around !
Reception seems pretty good but maybe the dual was not at the best place, and it was snowing.

Precision looks fine, so I doubt that is the reason. It is o.k. to see the update rate change between 4.0 and 5.0, typical values are 4.7. Please watch what the rate for some time and let me know if it stays that low.

Another person here stuck at 3.9hz, it never gets any higher. Updated to Dual's 1.2.6 firmware. Perhaps they released a new version of firmware that is only 4hz and not 5? However this doesn't seem correct as I did call them as I was having trouble with the update taking (didn't read this whole thread until now, but my issue was the COM port issue as well)

I just purchased the XGPS150a and I wanted to update the firmware, but the link just takes me to the Dual hompage. Is there something wrong with their site or am I doing something wrong?

Also, I have an Iphone 5 and once I pair it with Dual it shows it getting a signal at 1Hz but after a few minutes it loses it showing 0.0Hz. Using the internal GPS works fine but when I pair it up with the Dual using the preset firmware it never picked up my "go/stop" points when it was still getting a signal from the external gps.

Update: Dual is changing the server infrastructure. They plan to have the firmware available again in 24 hours.

Somehow I can't find this update file at all... I even spoke to customer service and they send me a mail with the instructions, but no "zip file" containing the firmware update. The link on their website "http://xgps150.dualav.com/firmwarenew.html" only takes me back to their homepage "http://gps.dualav.com/". Can anyone please either mail me the file or provide me with a working link? Thanks in advance.
