For the most part I use the iPhone to record my laps but the few times I use an external source, I find overlaying very difficult. The process itself of importing photos is fine, but the biggest difficulty is trying to select the exact frame with my finger. Once I've determined the exact frame and take my finger off the screen (and pressure is released), the frame selector jumps. Would it be possible for the user to enter the exact frame time, ie 1:42:19 for when the video ends, as opposed to manually selecting the frame by tenth of a second?
I realize the workaround would be to edit the frame first on the pc but you really don't know where you want to cut the frame until you've overlaid it once or twice to make sure it looks right. So naturally I always import a video longer than necessary knowing I will have to pinpoint the right end (or beginning) point.
Overlaying Frames by Entering in Frame Number?
Re: Overlaying Frames by Entering in Frame Number?
Also not to mention it'd be much easier to trial and error of finding the right end frame by punching in numbers over and over until you get it right...
Re: Overlaying Frames by Entering in Frame Number?
Good point...experienced that myself. Personally I would suggest otherwise: keep the current way of seeking / swiping and just adding prev / next buttons for fine tuning frame by frame.
Re: Overlaying Frames by Entering in Frame Number?
That's it...no more feature or improvement requests from me...everything is on the list anyhow
