Brocken Track

Post by solive31 »

Harry,

I´m creating a new Go-Kart track using a beta version of Laptimer. I had an issue where Laptimer splited my track on two, as you can see on attached pictures.

Then you told me to narrow the detection corridor, That was what I got:

I have another race tomorrow (Set/25th)

Is there a way to fix that? Or at least avoid it next time

Tks

Hi Sandro,

In the later display, LT has been too picky with detecting triggers. As an alternative you may leave the detection corridor at 'Normal' but move the problem-trigger a little to the right (east). This will still allow LT to catch the trigger (especially as you will chose your line driven on the outside anyway) without making it too picky. By moving the trigger to the outside, it is further away from the counter straight and will hopefully not trigger here.

Please keep in mind this is interaction between an app and the outside world - through sensors. Oddly, this requires some trial and error for difficult tracks.

Hope that helps,

Harry
