I probably missed it in the online documentation, but how would you setup HLTP to run with two different drivers in the same car?
We'd like to compare runs and see who's faster and where.
I can't wait to see how this works tomorrow!
Thanks!

Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
As LapTimer is designed for one driver only, you need a work around: define two cars by combining the car's name with your names e.g. "Car X (driver A)" and "Car X (driver B)". Change the current car every time you change the driver afterwards. This will at least allow you to identify the laps for each driver. LapTimer Trainer is able to filter Lap List by vehicle by the way, so this can be helpful too.

Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
That would explain why you have the "Duplicate" option in the vehicles area! I wondered about that.
Thanks for your sage advice!

Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
Yes, that can be used. The duplicate has been introduced to allow several configurations of a car, e.g. with slicks, and without.

Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
Thanks for the advice! If anything changes on the car, we can track it's progression/regression. You've been doing this for a while and have put a lot of thought into this!
I tried your app at my event on Sunday. I set the start/finish points for the autocross, pulled up to the line, pressed the staging button, and launched when the flag dropped. Just as I pulled into my grid spot, I noticed my phone had shut off. Seems iPhones don't like 100+ degree Fahrenheit direct sun.
Since I have an open cockpit, I'll have to devise a method of keeping the phone shaded or even chilled. I have a month until our next event so I'll be able to figure out something and read the directions more thoroughly!

Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
Why did I have to remove the AC? (to remove about 28 pounds out of the car), why did I install two gauges in the two air vents in the center of the car? (to make sure the new engine wouldn't blow up) Why did I remove the convertible top? (to remove another 54 pounds out of the car). Now I'm wishing I drove something bigger than a Miata!
I'm trying to engineer a mount for my iphone that mounts to the center console (radio area) and holds the phone in the passenger knee area. I'll make an optional "hood" for it and maybe a slot on the back for an ice pack to keep the mount cool.
I'll post the results after my next event.
Thanks for the great app!!!!!

Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
Harry,
Just checked the GoPro website, they estimate the wifi app will be out late July early August.
I've got my fingers crossed that you'll have something in the works before this season is over!

Re: Autocross 2 Driver Setup?
I have contacted them to get an auto triggering enabled. So far I'm not sure they are willing to go into a cooperation, they have become big
But lets see, we are at the start of a conversation and it may evolve. It will certainly help if some users get back to them and request an integration mechanism, so you can help a lot here.
