Is there any way to import waypoints into iOS app?

Post by Crivera13 »

I'm trying to use the app to place buoys on precise locations. Is there a way to import the waypoints from a csv file or gpx file into the app?

I'd suggest you create a single POI using e.g. Realtime / Map View. Assign it to a new group named "My bouys". Select the row showing "1 POI..." from Waypoints and export / certify it. Send the mail generated to yourself (not us). Open the file with extension ".hpoil". It is a human readable XML/text document you can extend by your buoy collection. Once it is ready, send that fiel to yourself and open the attachment on your smartphone. Select Buddy to open it. This will actually import the updated "My buoys" group.
