Graph Questions

Post by 99trackrat »

I recently purchased Harry's Lap Timer Pro and recorded about 31 laps on VIR full.

I have seen posts where people show a map of the track and acceleration graph showing g-forces and speed as they go around the track.

I can't figure out how to do this.

Can you please provide some guidance for how to accomplish this?

Thanks

You need to video record your laps first. To do this, press the "Video" button in any timer view and rotate your iPhone to landscape. Now, LapTimer will not only record data, but add a video stream in addition. After having done that, select any recorded lap with a camera symbol (in Lap List) and press the 'Overlay' button. This will generate a video in your Photo library you can view and distribute.

Try:

Go to lap list and select the lap
Scroll down to data recording.
This should show a small circuit layout with some of the g info visible.
Click the right arrow, this will expand the view to show the fill info which you can enlarge on screen
Click on the spanner, top right and you will get the option on the next screen to export data, you can export as PDF, or KML for Google Earth.

Thanks. I figured that part out.

What I am trying to figure out how to do is the graphics/data that appear with the video, only with no video.

Trying to figure out my speed and g-forces along the track and also compare laps at particular places on the track such as key turns. For example turn 10, what speed and g-forces.

Thanks again.

Nice to see another 5 on here!
Not sure how you would do that with HLT. I think with some of the other 3rd party overlay programs, trackvision etc may allow you to show G as a horizontal bar.

My track 5, The hornet is a Eunos import. (Actually its owned by a group of us!)
We're you using HLT v15 or does Coombe not have corner names?
