Hi Harry,
I'm using a Samsung S21+ with Android 14. Harry's Version 24.9.1.
The Race Box Mini S functions fine with its own app and I tried with a few other track apps to check if it is a 'HLT' issue or android / phone. RaceChrono picks up the GPS data from the Race Box Mini S but HLT and CircuitStorm don't. I want to continue to use Harry's as it's my prefered app so looking to resolve if possible.
Things to note: Robust connection to the Race Box mini from Harrys, just no data being available in the HLT app (Grand Prix edition), sensor in location with good satelite coverage.
Tried 'Force Insecure BT Connection' no change
Tried Low Power (default) and Balanced settings within Bluetooth LE Scan Mode
Is there any reason you can think of that would cause no GPS data throughput from the Race Box Mini S:
Min S Sensor Information:
RaceBox Mini GNSS firmare: 3.4
Automation by RaceBox Pro version 1.2.0
Thanks for any support

Re: Race Box Mini S - Android - No GNSS / GPS Data
We reached out to Racebox several times on issues with the Mini S. We test with a Mini (no S) - which seems to work fine. For the S, it looks like we need support from Racebox… Please feel free to contact Racebox on this issue too.

Re: Race Box Mini S - Android - No GNSS / GPS Data
I just bought a mini s (wish I had seen this before). Checking if this issue is still active or a fix is pending release.
If not I will return the mini s and by the mini.
Update: the following is the response from racebox when I reached out to then saying hlt is not working with the mini s.
"Dear Karthik Suresh Kumar,
Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, we do not provide support for third-party applications. We recommend reaching out to the Harry's LapTimer team for assistance. If they are unable to resolve the issue, they can contact us directly."

Oddly, you have actually better access to the Mini S that I have. As they decided to not support 3rd parties any more, we are out and need to limit official support to the initial model we have here for testing.
I'm sorry.

Re: Race Box Mini S - Android - No GNSS / GPS Data
I reimplemented the RaceBox Integration based on their API documentation and added Micro support. Actually I found several issues with the original integration, operation should be very stable with the new one. During testing, I discovered regular disconnects / timeouts in case the BT signal has been too weak. This is interesting because peer driver's RaceBox devices often create trouble because they advertise over really long distances - leading to connects to other cars. On the other hand, for stable operation, they need to be near by. Strange.
The new integration will be released as part of LapTimer's Spring release in a few weeks. Thanks for feedback once it is getting available.

Thanks Harry. Much appreciated, I'll let you know how it goes. Do you have any idea on when this will released as I'll keep my eye open for the update. Cheers Drew

I wait for a sensor sample to be added, should arrive next week / the week after. And not sure how Apple's approval process including CarPlay will go, this is always a question mark - at least for iOS. So it will be sometimes in May.
