Timer display

Post by Daniel »

Hi

On a recent track day HLT didn't seem to work as expected. Using timer display set to show my time +/- my best. The lap time was 2 mins, when I pass the start finish the gap will show minus 2 mins and then count down. If my lap was longer than 2 mins once the gap reached zero it would start counting up will I passed the line.

Is this correct?

Many thanks

Dan

Please check to what lap your reference lap is set (Last, Best, any selected). In case this lap has ill formed GPS plots, effects like this can happen.

Yes it was set to my best, I did notice that when setting it to last it appeared to work correctly sometimes. I was using a dual xps in an open top car so gps should have been rock solid. Looking at the best lap the gps fixes look good. Just uploading a video overlay now.

I have had the same problem on my last two trackdays, same setup (dual xps) in an open top car. The timer was set to best, but it just counts down from the total laptime. I had mine set to best, but each time I went faster the problem remained.
