Hi,
I'm running an Edelbrock Pro-Flo4 EFI system on my car. I'd like to get my engine data into the LapTimer. The system has no ODB port, but it does have an CAN port and it communicates through BlueTooth with an app. I can read all engine parameters on the ETuner 4 app. Could it be possible for the LapTimer to tap into this BT connection? There is a thread on the Edelbrock EFI forum about connecting to stand alone displays and loggers. Might be some relevant info there. https://forums.edelbrock.com/forum/pro- ... tream-info Some of the stuff they talk about there is a bit over my head.
Is there any info you might need from Edelbrock to connect to their ECU?
Best Regards, Joakim..

Re: Edelbrock Pro-Flo4 ECU
Hello,
It is not possible to integrate all sensors and systems out there ourselves. Often extreme niche and too much effort to justify. So what we have done a few years ago is adding a developer programming and scripting interface. 3rd parties can use this program to integrate their sensors. This integrations are released once tested and become available for the complete LapTimer community afterwards. Details can be found on http://www.gps-laptimer.de/documentation in the second chapter on HarrysLua. NB: this requires insights into the BT protocol used and scripting / programming skills.
